Creating a paper trading account and relevant API key for access is easy to do right from Dash. You will be able to regenerate your keys, add funds to your paper trading account and view all relevant access tokens.
To Create a Paper Trading Account
To create your paper trading access, you can follow this link to the API Access page:
https://dash.tradier.com/settings/api
Alternatively, if you're already logged in to Dash, you can enroll by,
- Clicking on the account menu drop down.
- Click “Enroll in Paper Trading”
- Go to the section “Sandbox Account Access (Paper trading)”
- Click “Create Account”.
That's it, you are now enrolled in paper trading.
To Retrieve Paper Trading API Access
Paper trading is generally available via the API. You can use your account number and access token to make API calls and work with your account.
To find your API/Paper Trading Access tokens, please visit: https://dash.tradier.com/settings/api
Alternatively, if you're already logged in to Dash, you can find your API tokens by:
- Clicking on Gear icon next to your name.
- Click "API Access" in the left navigation.
- Review your Production Account Access.
- Review your Sandbox Account access.
