This panel is where all of your orders for the day reside, after you hit the SEND button on a ticket. An order will be one of the following: Pending, Open, Filled, Rejected, or Canceled.
- Pending: an order has been placed to the market center but has not reached the market place. This state of an order could be due to the market being closed or a connectivity issue between the broker and a downstream vendor. Once the order reaches the market center, it will show Open.
- Open: this designation means the order is in the marketplace but is NOT yet filled. Think of Open as “working”.
- Filled: the order was placed and has been executed. You will see your average price in the “Avg Price” column. Partial fills can occur in which case the quantity filled and open will show in the Order Panel.
- Rejected: your order has been rejected by Tradier for any one of a variety of reasons. The event log will show the reason for the rejection.
- Canceled: orders are either canceled by the user or automatically if they are designated day orders and the close of trading has occurred.
