The Trade Ticket in the Tradier Mobile App allows you to enter, preview, and submit orders for equities and options.
Accessing the Trade Ticket
You can open a trade ticket in several ways:
From the main menu by selecting the Trade option.
From the Positions or Orders screens on the Home Tab by swiping a card to the right and tapping the Trade icon.
From the Research Tab by entering a symbol and selecting the Trade button.
From the Chains Tab by sending selected contracts from the stager to the ticket.
Trade Types Supported
The Trade Ticket supports:
Equity Orders
Options Orders
Multi-leg Option Orders (up to four legs)
Combo Orders
Completing the Trade Ticket
Select the Account you want to trade in.
Enter or Confirm the Symbol you wish to trade.
Choose the Action (e.g., Buy, Sell, Buy to Open, Sell to Close).
Specify the Quantity of shares or contracts.
Select the Order Type (e.g., Market, Limit, Stop).
Set the Price and Time in Force if applicable.
For options, configure each leg and verify all terms are correct.
Previewing and Submitting Your Order
Tap Preview to review all order details.
When ready, tap Submit to send the order.
Once submitted, the order will appear across all Tradier platforms, including Tradier Pro Desktop.
Easy-to-Borrow (ETB) List
For short sales, the Easy-to-Borrow list indicates whether a security is generally available to borrow. If a security is not on this list, it may be harder to borrow and short selling may not be available.
Short selling involves unique risks and is not suitable for all investors.
