These visual indicators appear consistently across the platform—from your Positions section and Symbol Quote pages to Research tools and the Trading Ticket—giving you instant context without cluttering your workspace.
Each icon serves a specific purpose, whether it's alerting you to upcoming corporate actions like earnings announcements or dividends, indicating that you hold an active position in a security, or showing that you have pending orders. Familiarizing yourself with these icons will help you navigate the platform more efficiently and stay informed about important account activity and market events.

Icon | Meaning |
The Open Order icon means that you currently have an open order for that particular security. If the order is an option order it will show for both the option you have the open order for and also the underlying symbol if you hold it as well. | |
The Expiring Options icon means that the option you currently hold is set to expire. The icon will appear when the option has under 1 week until expiration. | |
The In The Money icon let's you know that the option you hold is currently in the money based on the underlying price and the strike price that you are holding. | |
The Out of the Money icon appears leading up to the final week of expiration. It will help you to easily identify which options are out of the money based on the underlying price and the strike price that you are holding. | |
The Earnings Indicator icon is used to represent an upcoming earnings announcement for the symbol. More information around the earnings announcement can be found in the research center for that particular underlying symbol. | |
The Dividend Indicator icon is used to indicate that the underlying symbol has announced an upcoming dividend. This icon is not yet available on the platform. | |
The Easy to Borrow icon is found throughout the platform. It let's you know that the underlying symbol is currently on the easy to borrow list. If the underlying symbol does not have this icon then it would be considered to be Hard to Borrow. | |
The Loaned Share(s) icon is used when an account is opted into the Fully Paid Securities Lending program. If you are opted into the program and your shares are being loaned out this icon would appear. If you hover over the icon you will be able to see how many of your shares are currently loaned out. |
