How Does It Work?
The Tradier MCP Server acts as a bridge between AI assistants (such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor) and the Tradier API. When you connect an AI tool to the MCP Server using your personal access token, the AI can make structured API requests to:
Retrieve real-time market data and quotes
Access options chains and derivatives information
Place, modify, or cancel orders
View account balances and positions
Manage watchlists
Execute trades in paper trading environments for testing
The system processes natural language requests from the AI assistant and translates them into properly formatted API calls to Tradier's brokerage infrastructure.
